My role in particular is focused on the implementation of optical techniques (with a focus on Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging) and data analysis tools.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong>2. What research needs or challenge were you aiming to address when looking for a<br>solution ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1fa4d9f\" data-block-id=\"1fa4d9f\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">As part of our studies, we were implementing a mini2P microscope for brain imaging of freely behaving mice.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong>3. What factors influenced your decision to select our system ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-b3a7b72\" data-block-id=\"b3a7b72\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">The photonics crystal fiber from LightCore offered a unique combination of low dispersion across a broad wavelength range.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong>4. How has your experience been using our system in your research work ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-57041d6\" data-block-id=\"57041d6\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">The fiber is of high quality and worked with no problem. The custom-made collimation adapter for the mini2P was also robust and well functional. The coupling box offered an easy alignment experience.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong>5. Have our system contributed to any improvements in your workflow, experiments,<br>efficiency, or research outcomes ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1366521\" data-block-id=\"1366521\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Significant simplification of alignment and flexibility in the choice of the excitation wavelength.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong>6. Are there any specific features or aspects you particularly value ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-b0010f9\" data-block-id=\"b0010f9\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">The broad wavelength range in which the fiber can be operated.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\"><strong>7. Would you recommend our system to other researchers or institutions ? Why ?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-1fb0e3a\" data-block-id=\"1fb0e3a\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\"><span style=\"color: #0f0e17;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Definitely, and in fact I already have.
